Now that Autumn has arrived, and winter is just around the corner it’s time to help your lawns to become healthier and stronger ready to look good for those summer BBQ’s next year! To enable us to help achieve this we recommend a yearly Scarification and Hollow-Tine Aeration which will allow your lawn to breathe, by removing the thatch in the lawn and removing thousands of cores across the lawn, allowing important air and water to flow into the lawn’s root zone and also the other benefit of reducing moss.

Leatherjackets, which are the larvae of the crane fly (daddy long legs) lay their eggs in the lawn during the early autumn. The resultant grubs hatch during October and by spring can cause extensive damage to the lawn by eating the grass roots. We have several Pest Management Treatments for this problem including our flagship NutraShield product.

During October to December, we will be applying our NutraGreen Autumn/Winter Long treatment which contains our micro- nutrient feed and a moss control element. This is designed to support your lawns health over the winter. It will also help your lawns to cope with the rigours of Aeration and Scarification and to endure the winter months.
