GreenThumb Horsham
Lawn Care Treatments, Repairs and Maintenance Services in Horsham
Welcome to GreenThumb Horsham
Since 2003, from our Henfield administrative base, we have provided our lawn care service throughout the following major towns (and smaller communities in between): Horsham, Haywards Heath, Crawley, East Grinstead and Burgess Hill. Give us a ring to check whether we cover your area! With Lawn Care, it’s a case of “Service Matters.”
If there’s anything we’ve learned over the years it’s the importance providing an excellent level of support to our customers. For a lawn care company with the reputation as the industry leader we understand that responsiveness as well as understanding our customer’s needs are of the highest priority.
Along with a team of experienced and NPTC qualified lawn operatives we also have dedicated service staff who are happy to visit GreenThumb customers to discuss any concerns they may have with adverse weather, lawn pests or mowing practices, to name but a few. Our advice comes with no additional charge. This is all part of the service.
Having reached our 10,000th customer-milestone back in May 2015, and with all the problems that our climate has thrown at the lawns in recent years (snow, drought and heat-waves, flooding, pests and diseases and so on), we have plenty to keep us busy. You will find our staff approachable and knowledgeable, all having received training in both turf management and customer-service.
Your introduction to our service will normally be by a visit from one of our team, who will provide a written quotation for our range of services plus observations and recommendations specifically for your lawn, including advice on mowing (although we do not offer a mowing service). There’s no obligation and we’ll also tell you more about our discounted programmes, payable by a convenient monthly direct-debit.

Frequently Asked Questions
When can I start using GreenThumb?
You can adopt our services at any time of the year. There is never a ‘bad time’ to start improving your lawn.
Do I have to be at home when you come and treat my lawn?
The majority of our customers are not at home when we call. Since all our vehicles and Lawn Operatives are self-sufficient, we can carry out your treatments as long as we have access to the lawns.
If you would prefer to be in when we are treating your lawn, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
I have children and /or pets. What should I be aware of?
We recommend that you keep off the lawn until any liquid part of the treatment has dried (approx. 2 hours). This stops it being walked off. And this is especially true of our NutraGreen Autumn Long Treatment, we recommend that you keep off the lawn for more than 2 hours then as it could stain a carpet or wooden floor, if it were walked into the home.
Grazing pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs should be kept off the lawn for a minimum of two weeks or three cuts, whichever occurs latest, to avoid ingestion of Ragwort, in particular, which becomes poisonous to them as it dies back.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we want our customers to continue with GreenThumb based on our merits in creating a healthier, greener lawn for them - not because they are stuck in a contract. Of course, with our treatment programmes, you will need to sign a Direct Debit Mandate with the relevant T&C's which relate to this payment option.
