No. However, we recommend that children are kept off the lawn for 1-2 hours after a treatment to give any products applied time to dry, as they could cause staining on carpets is transferred from shoes indoors.

The treatments are safe for pets, however we recommend that pets such as cats and dogs are kept off the lawn for 2-4 hours after a treatment.

Grazing pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs should be kept off the lawn for two weeks to avoid ingestion of applied treatments.

Many GreenThumb customers have a gardener and use our services.

We are not a gardening company, nor will we carry out any of the other work your gardener does. If required, we would be happy to discuss the work we intend to carry out with your gardener.

Branded lawn feeds typically last between 3 - 6 weeks, depending on your soil type. GreenThumb's professional feeds last around 10 weeks.

The actual amount of lawn food GreenThumb applies is usually more than double that of store-bought brands and is applied safely and professionally.

The majority of our customers are not at home when we call. Since all our vehicles and Lawn Operatives are self-sufficient, we can carry out the treatment as long as we have access to the lawns.

If you would prefer to be in when we are treating your lawn, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We recommend that you don't cut your lawn for three or four days either side of any treatment.

With most standard treatments we recommend a minimum of 6 months preferably 12. There are some treatments where we would ask you to dispose of the clippings in a different way for the first 3 cuts, these are generally one off treatments and we would advise at the time of the treatment.
