GreenThumb The Weald
Lawn Care Treatments, Repairs and Maintenance Services in The Weald
Welcome to GreenThumb The Weald
Welcome to GreenThumb The Weald. Mike and Mark Grady have been running a GreenThumb Franchise since 2003, originally starting by focusing on Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and gradually expanding to take in surrounding areas over the years. From our office in Paddock Wood we now cover an area that takes in much of East Sussex and West Kent with Edenbridge, Crowborough, Heathfield and Eastbourne on the Western border, over to Headcorn, Lenham, Harrietsham, Tenterden and Bexhill on the Eastern border and everywhere inbetween. The A21 runs right through the middle of our territory so we have easy access to a large geographical area.
We now have a team of eleven Lawn Care Operatives, most of whom have been with us long enough to have experienced just about every known lawn issue. They carry out four pre-scheduled treatments a year on every lawn to ensure it thrives, whatever the season.
We provide additional treatments for fungal disease, pest problems and moss as well as carrying out Hollow-Tine Aeration and Scarification if requested. The team also provide two extra programmes to help reduce the amount of watering and cutting required. They are the Oasis Treatment Programme and SlowMow Treatment Programme.
To make things even easier for you the branch allows you to pay by Direct Debit.
The office is covered by two long serving staff members who also carry out quotes and complimentary service calls. They can help with anything from changing a treatment date to diagnosing a specific lawn condition.
One of the most gratifying facts about this business is that more than half of our new customers come from recommendations from existing customers. But, however a customer comes to us, they can relax in the knowledge that the whole team is dedicated to creating beautiful lawns and delivering the highest levels of customer care.
Whatever the issue on your lawn why not give GreenThumb The Weald a call today for a FREE lawn quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions
When can I start using GreenThumb?
You can adopt our services at any time of the year. There is never a ‘bad time’ to start improving your lawn.
Do I have to be at home when you come and treat my lawn?
The majority of our customers are not at home when we call. Since all our vehicles and Lawn Operatives are self-sufficient, we can carry out your treatments as long as we have access to the lawns.
If you would prefer to be in when we are treating your lawn, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
I have children and /or pets. What should I be aware of?
We recommend that you keep off the lawn until any liquid part of the treatment has dried (approx. 2 hours). This stops it being walked off. And this is especially true of our NutraGreen Autumn Long Treatment, we recommend that you keep off the lawn for more than 2 hours then as it could stain a carpet or wooden floor, if it were walked into the home.
Grazing pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs should be kept off the lawn for a minimum of two weeks or three cuts, whichever occurs latest, to avoid ingestion of Ragwort, in particular, which becomes poisonous to them as it dies back.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we want our customers to continue with GreenThumb based on our merits in creating a healthier, greener lawn for them - not because they are stuck in a contract. Of course, with our treatment programmes, you will need to sign a Direct Debit Mandate with the relevant T&C's which relate to this payment option.
