GreenThumb Suffolk East
Lawn Care Treatments, Repairs and Maintenance Services in Suffolk East
Welcome to GreenThumb Suffolk East
GreenThumb East Suffolk has been producing great lawns since 2001 and has grown mainly through customer recommendations, which we like to think demonstrates our commitment to the provision of quality products, quality work and excellent customer service. We now have in excess of 3,600 valued customers who we work with to provide the desired results.
We have a team of 11, 9 of which are professionally qualified operatives with over 30 years’ experience gained in the lawn and grass care business. We service lawns everywhere east of a line that links Dunwich, Worlingworth, Otley, Monks Eleigh, Hadleigh, Ipswich and below the River Stour down to Horsley Cross and Wrabness.
For our treatments we use our bespoke professional lawn care products – not available at your local garden centre – and these are applied accurately using professional equipment. We are fortunate to live in one of the driest and warmest areas in the country and soil varies from very heavy, wet Suffolk clay to sandy, acid soil on the heathlands. This presents its own challenges in keeping your lawn looking fantastic where the simple fact is that grass needs water to thrive.
We treat all sorts and sizes of lawns from sweet little ones to large country gardens; they all receive the same dedicated care, all for a cost that is lower than 'doing it yourself'. To make things even easier for you, it is possible to pay for treatments by Direct Debit, allowing you to make some significant savings, spread the cost and include all the treatments your lawn needs with no fuss.
We are proud of the results we achieve and the strong relationships we have with our valued customers so, if you would like help from the professionals, why not give us a call? We will be more than happy to visit and provide a free, no-obligation lawn inspection so that we can recommend the best programme of treatments to get your lawn looking tip-top!

Frequently Asked Questions
When can I start using GreenThumb?
You can adopt our services at any time of the year. There is never a ‘bad time’ to start improving your lawn.
Do I have to be at home when you come and treat my lawn?
The majority of our customers are not at home when we call. Since all our vehicles and Lawn Operatives are self-sufficient, we can carry out your treatments as long as we have access to the lawns.
If you would prefer to be in when we are treating your lawn, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
I have children and /or pets. What should I be aware of?
We recommend that you keep off the lawn until any liquid part of the treatment has dried (approx. 2 hours). This stops it being walked off. And this is especially true of our NutraGreen Autumn Long Treatment, we recommend that you keep off the lawn for more than 2 hours then as it could stain a carpet or wooden floor, if it were walked into the home.
Grazing pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs should be kept off the lawn for a minimum of two weeks or three cuts, whichever occurs latest, to avoid ingestion of Ragwort, in particular, which becomes poisonous to them as it dies back.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we want our customers to continue with GreenThumb based on our merits in creating a healthier, greener lawn for them - not because they are stuck in a contract. Of course, with our treatment programmes, you will need to sign a Direct Debit Mandate with the relevant T&C's which relate to this payment option.
