It’s the job some of us love to hate – mowing the lawn. When it is done we stand back with pride on the newly shorn lawn, but many of us would rather not have to cut it as often, if we had the choice.

There are times of the year when keeping up with the lawn mowing can be a challenge. The weather conspires to ensure that although the grass looks lush and green, it just won’t stop growing.
Until now. Our new growth regulator, Slowmow, reduces the rate at which the grass plant grows, meaning that you will not need to cut the grass quite so often, thereby allowing you to spend time in your garden doing other things.
Slowmow addresses the hormone that encourages cell elongation in the grass plant. This inhibits the vertical growth of the plant, diverting the growth downwards to the root system, increasing the plants food reserve and lateral stem development, meaning the grass grows thicker and the lawn becomes denser. The overall effect is that your lawn produces a healthier sward, better equipped to deal with hot dry summers, moisture loss and general wear and tear. And because the vertical growth of the plant is inhibited, the grass will not grow tall, resulting in less frequent mowing.
This doesn't mean an end to lawn mowing; it does mean that you will either substantially reduce the clippings that are produced as a result of a weekly cut, or you can increase the time periods in between cutting.
