Milton Keynes

Clare Phelan knew all about GreenThumb when she founded the Milton Keynes branch in 2003.

Clare had been a customer for several years and knew from first-hand experience how GreenThumb’s four pre-arranged weed and feed treatments, together with aeration and scarification where required can transform a lawn and leave it looking green, healthy and weed free.

Treatments start from just £15 and the majority of customers in the area pay less than £20 . Each customer receives lawn treatments from GreenThumb’s experts for less than it would cost to buy the materials at a D.I.Y store and do the job yourself.

Today, Clare and her partner Ray Hickling run a branch that looks after thousands of lawns in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area, from Winslow to Olney.

“We see ourselves as working in partnership with our customers and their lawns. To us customer service and educating our customers about what they can do to help keep their lawns in the best possible condition is key to our success,” says Clare.

As well as keeping lawns in tip-top condition, GreenThumb are also experts at dealing with the more complex problems of lawn diseases and lawn pests such as Red Thread and Leatherjackets, both of which can have significant effects on the lawn’s overall health and appearance.

Testimonials

"I was despairing of our lawn which was failing after several years of poor growth (and mole attacks), and disappointed by the failure of another lawn-improvement company. But Clare and GreenThumb have worked wonders for us with their advice and reasonably-priced treatments so that our grass is, once again, the jewel in the crown of our garden."
